2026-27 Premier League Kit Sponsors: Evaluating Brand Value with Blinkfire

The 2026–27 Premier League campaign marks a monumental turning point for global sports business. For the first time in modern league history, top-flight English football takes the pitch under the voluntary ban on front-of-shirt gambling partnerships. As betting brands step down from primary shirt real estate, a diverse new wave of global sponsors, ranging from tech innovators and financial giants to aviation leaders, is stepping up to capture the league’s worldwide reach.

Coventry City, Hull City, and Sunderland, newly promoted to England’s top tier, are set to experience massive spikes in global broadcast viewership, media value, and digital engagement, transforming their kit inventory into prime international real estate overnight.

In this comprehensive guide, we use Blinkfire’s patented AI and computer-vision technology to break down the kit sponsors for all 20 Premier League teams for the 2026–27 season, evaluating every technical supplier, front-of-jersey sponsor, and sleeve partner as a new season on Premier League sponsorship begins.

Front-of-Jersey & Sleeve Sponsorship Industries

With front-of-shirt gambling sponsorships officially banned, the Premier League’s commercial lineup looks dramatically different than last season when 11 clubs featured betting companies on their chests. Financial services companies have rapidly moved in to fill the void, claiming eight teams (40% of the league), while airlines have deals with three clubs (Manchester City, Arsenal, and Hull City) to tap into the EPL’s massive global footprint.

On the flip side, gambling brands have switched over to sleeve sponsorships in the Premier League. A total of five sleeve partners are betting brands, the most of any industry this season. In a tie for second, E-commerce, financial services, HR software, and tourism sectors each have two brands. While not as valuable as front-of-jersey assets, these are still highly coveted partnerships that drive tens of millions of dollars in value in the world’s most popular football league.

Benchmarking and Building off of the 2025-26 Season

Using Blinkfire Benchmarking, we ranked Premier League teams last season based on front-of-jersey and sleeve sponsor value on social media. Arsenal generated the most value across owned and earned social media ($251 million) for their front-of-jersey sponsor, Emirates, while Manchester United took the top spot ($63.8 million) for their sleeve partner, DXC Technology. Success doesn’t mean outperforming global powerhouses like these two teams. Teams should be focused on their creating compelling content that engages fans and brings value to partners.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
